Sujata Khandai

Dr Sujata Khandai is currently Professor of Marketing, Deputy Dean of Academics and Director in Amity University Noida. She holds an MBA degree from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and a Ph.D. from GGSIPU, New Delhi. Dr Khandai started her career with a sales and marketing profile in the consumer durables industry. She subsequently moved to academia and worked in various higher educational institutions in India and Nepal before joining Amity University in 2015. Her teaching interests lie in the areas of consumer behaviour, digital marketing, branding and entrepreneurship. Actively involved with consultancy assignments and conducting training programs and workshops, she has been published extensively in highly ranked journals and has also presented papers in international conferences in Asia, Europe and the USA. She has been awarded with a funded project from ICSSR (Indian Council of Social Sciences Research) in the area of employment generation and sustainability. Dr Khandai has also co-authored a book ‘Consumer Behaviour – In the Indian Context’, and she is currently co-authoring a book on Brand Management.
