Sameep Shastri

Charismatic, versatile, performance-driven and armed with a tremendous sense of social responsibility, Sameep Shastri is a youth icon, an institution builder and an emerging voice advocating the strong ties between a sustainable future and youth leadership and empowerment. To take forward the illustrious political legacy of his grandfather former Prime Minister of India Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, he has also ventured into politics and is associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party. He also serves as Chairman, Indian Institute of Governance and Leadership (IIGL); President, Confederation of Young Leaders (CYL); Vice Chairman, BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BRICS CCI); and President, BRICS CCI Young Leaders. Sameep Shastri has been at the helm of organizing numerous national and international congresses and conventions on leadership and governance with special focus on nurturing young leadership. He has implemented many programs at the global level to advocate the need for employment-centric and skill-based vocations to better equip the youth for future challenges with respect to the ever-evolving global economy.
